About Us

Absolute Insulation was born out of a desire to put into effect the wealth of knowledge and experience Jake had gathered over many years and various roles within the insulation industry. Knowing there was a better more effective way of running an insulation company Jake and partner Tracey kicked off Absolute Insulation in May 2013. Quickly gathering a team of highly skilled people into the company we grew in both size and reputation firmly establishing the company within the greater Auckland area.

Absolute is located in the bustling heart of Onehunga and services the great Auckland area and who knows if the fishing is right even further afield!

The Rise & Fall of Insulation

Admixed the financial crises, the government initiated the insulation subsidy scheme to help stimulate the economy with jobs and bring down health related costs that were associated with poorly insulated homes. Consumer awareness of the benefits of insulation in homes were better than ever due to the positive advertising. The scheme was a great success in terms of homes insulated and the estimated heath reduction costs is viewed to more than pay for the scheme over time.

The opportunity of the scheme did encourage many insulation companies to start up and when the allocation started to dwindle the competition was fierce between the insulation companies. Many companies failed to continue.

On the back of this struggle Absolute Insulation was born from a need for quality and ethical insulation practices. Started by Jake and Tracy they quickly sort some of the best people in the industry that aligned with this vision. “It’s about trust, and providing the best service using best practice installation techniques”.
